Making Waves with Branded Concrete Props and Taxidermy Fish for RNLI’s ‘Respect the Water’ Campaign

When it comes to impactful messaging, sometimes you need to go bold, heavy, and impossible to ignore—which is exactly what we did for RNLI’s ‘Respect the Water’ campaign.
Designed to educate people about the dangers of open water and the precautions needed to stay safe, this campaign needed eye-catching, thought-provoking props to drive the message home. Arc London commissioned us to create a series of branded concrete props—but with a clever twist.
The Power of Illusion
We sculpted and cast a series of props that looked like they were made of solid concrete, creating a powerful visual metaphor for the weight of water and the risks it can pose. But the pièce de résistance however were the 10 taxidermy fish.
- Concrete-effect wellies – Heavy, immovable, and impossible to ignore, symbolising the hidden dangers beneath the surface.
- Concrete-effect t-shirts – A stark reminder that even the strongest swimmers can be weighed down by unexpected currents.
- 10 hyper-realistic resin fish – Sprayed and finished to look like taxidermy specimens, bringing the depth of the ocean to life.
Branded Concrete Props That Make You Stop & Think
These props weren’t just about looking cool—they were designed to spark conversations, provoke thought, and reinforce RNLI’s life-saving message. Whether used in public installations, events, or awareness campaigns, these branded concrete props had one clear job: to make people pay attention.
Need branded props that carry weight (literally or figuratively)? Let’s build something that stops people in their tracks—and gets them talking.
