Giant World Globe Takes Over Heathrow!

With over 200,000 passengers expected to pass through Heathrow in just one day, the airport decided to take its global connections to the next level—literally.

Working with Mischief PR, we helped bring Heathrow’s routes to life by crafting a series of stunning world globes, placed throughout all terminals. And the centrepiece? A giant world globe, towering at an impressive 3 metres tall, taking pride of place for travellers to admire.

The Big Idea

Why the globes? Well, a recent study found that while British children travel abroad an average of five times by the age of ten, a surprising 12% can’t locate the UK on a world map. Heathrow wanted to change that, making travel feel more real, more exciting, and more educational—and what better way than with eye-catching, interactive globes?

Bringing the World to Heathrow

We built a mix of large tabletop globes and one giant fibreglass world globe, designed to be both striking and durable for the high-footfall environment of Heathrow. Whether passengers were jetting off on holiday, heading home, or dreaming about their next adventure, these globes served as a bold, visual reminder of just how connected we all are.
