Bringing the Jungle to Life: Our Show-Stopping Madagascar Live Masks

When we were asked to create bespoke costume masks for a 'Madagascar Live' stage performance based on the film by Dreamworks 'Madagascar", we knew this was going to be something special. These weren’t just any masks—they had to be bold, expressive, and performance-ready.

The challenge? They had to be lightweight, durable, and comfortable, allowing the actors to move, dance, and perform with ease. And, as always, we were ready to make it happen!

Built for comfort – We installed discreet fans inside to keep performers cool under the stage lights.
Incredible detail & realism – Each mask was flocked before being airbrushed with precision animal patterns.
Lush, lifelike manes – We used nylon for most but went all out with real horsehair for the lion’s mane—because the king of the jungle deserves nothing less!
Finishing touches that shine – We added cellulose paint and vinyl detailing for a flawless, stage-ready finish.
