TAYLOR HERRING: ILLUMINATED MIFFY SCULPTURE
We were asked by Taylor Herring to make a gigantic 3-meter tall illuminated Miffy sculpture to celebrate the launch of Miffy’s Adventures on the new Sky Kids TV Channel.
Miffy was initially carved from polystyrene to get the perfect Miffy rabbit shape, then formed with fibreglass, hours of meticulous sanding, painting, artwork and lights cleverly placed inside to create the illuminated night light effect. Miffy was exhibited on Observation Point, Southbank for 24 hours!
