About us
How do we do the things we do?
How? With a double portion of gusto, is the short answer. I mean come on, have you seen the stuff we come up with? Extra-extraordinary.
But even the extraordinary needs a plan.
We’re professional project managers and producers, with a ton of grown up experience in TV, Film, PR and entertainment.
We prototype, we collaborate, we plan the living daylights out of everything. Everything crossed and dotted. Every expectation kicked out the park.
We love what we do and our clients love what it does for them too. Sweet!
We’re here to make the extraordinary

Plunge clients
Turning maybes into hell-yeahs since 1997
Formerly known as Plunge Productions Ltd, Plunge began life in 1997 as a theatre production company, producing shows in various cities around the UK.
Originally based in Birmingham, we moved to London in 1999 to try to crack the West End theatre scene. After a few years of trying and despite a number of critically acclaimed productions including Honk! and Joe and I, we decided to concentrate our efforts in to the creative services we were also offering.
This change in emphasis away from theatre production proved a great success. We moved the business to just outside Brighton and set up a successful studio and workshop within the Workhaus mews complex in Hove. This allowed us to collaborate with a number of other businesses within Workhaus to offer an ever greater variety of services.
However, we quickly outgrew our workshop and decided to move to a much large premises in Portslade Village, again just outside Brighton. We now have over 6000 sq ft of workshop and studio space. By being able to offer as many services as we do, all from one facility, it means that we are able to take on large and complicated projects without relying on outsourcing.
Tim Simpson, Managing Director of the company, has worked with Plunge since the beginning and became company director in 2004. Sarah Mead, also a Director, joined the company in 2010.
And now it’s your turn
Costumes, puppets, whatever… bring us your briefs and let’s conjure up something amazing.
